Signalhorn and our team at Leuk are thrilled to be the host and partner of EUMETSAT's new ground station in Switzerland. The project marks a crucial element in Eutmetsat's revolutionary Meteosat Third Gen satellites which will provide Swiss meteorological authorities with advanced weather and climate data once they launch in winter 2022.

The new capability will help in the prediction of adverse weather conditions such as thunderstorms which can develop very quickly in mountainous areas due to conflicting high and low-pressure systems.
